• This self-authored book reflects an evolving relationship, as a foreigner, with the landscape of Tāmaki Makaurau—shaped through walking the West Coast and finding connection through solitude and discovery. As a designer, I developed a system of symmetrical, geometric patterns that sit alongside the text, abstracting natural rhythms into structured forms and creating a dialogue between order and organic experience. The project unfolds as a visual and sensory composition, where typography, image, and pattern work together to evoke memory, connection, and ecological awareness.
